Liberia WASH data

This part of the website display a comprehensive overview of the waterpoint mapping exercise carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and its partners in the first half of 2017.  Over 22,000  water points across all of Liberia’s counties, districts and clans have been mapped during this period. This section not only provides detailed interactive maps of these, but also a systematic analysis of the collected data. After doing this mapping in 2011, this is the second time that a complete map of all  waterpoints and information on drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) of Liberia has been made available.

The in-depth information of the 2017 mapping has yielded insights that provide the empirical basis for investment planning and help formulate basic policy recommendations.
